Took the Gondola to Roosevelt Island last weekend!
We went right at the end of the day, so the sun was setting and the light over the city was beautiful. Taking the gondola over to the island is really fun - and super easy! It's just a quick swipe of a metrocard and you're on your way. Graham loooves looking out the window at the city below and of course staring down all of the other passengers. Once we got to Roosevelt Island there was plenty of light for G to run around chasing geese and get nice and worn out.
And for those of you paying close attention, YES this is the same gondola from the beginning of City Slickers on which a very sad Billy Crystal commutes to work in the big, bad city each morning.
