Beverly Hills, What a Thrill

Originally we were going to stay with some friends in LA our first evening in California, but when that fell through we contacted my dear friend Nicole who works at a fancy Beverly Hills boutique hotel, much nicer than the sort of place we would normally stay. Not only did she hook us up with a room at the last minute, but when we arrived we had been upgraded (apparently three times, they were keen to inform us) to the Presidential Platinum Perfection Suite (ok, that might not be the exact name, but it feels pretty accurate). An employee actually escorted us up to our room and gave us a complete tour before turning over the key. Très chic.

Walking in, our jaws dropped. The insanely luxurious suite was larger than our entire apartment back home:
two bathrooms! multiple walk-in closets!
a balcony off of each room!
full sized kitchen! six thousand thread count sheets!

Graham didn't know what to do with himself with all that space.

Nor those silky sheets.

The views from the rooftop deck and our balconies were gorgeous.

D enjoyed taking his coffee alfresco every morning while surveying the property.

Thank you Nicole for a superb stay, introducing G to a lifestyle he never knew he was missing and also for babysitting while we got ready for the wedding! Truly above and beyond. You're the best!

This little guy is eager to come back and visit you!
