Bethie Gets Married

My darling friend and crazy college roommate Bethel got married last Saturday.
To say she looked stunning would be the understatement of the century.
More importantly, I have never ever seen her look so happy.

The ceremony was at Mission San Miguel,
a gorgeous historical backdrop for a modern country wedding.
And lots to look at for those of us completely lost during all the up down up down of a full Catholic mass!

The reception was at the Taft Barn in Atascadero, an airplane hangar sized barn
with a number of party-ready built-ins, from a full sized stagecoach to horseshoe pits.

Firestation reunion! It's been nearly 7 years since we were all in one spot.

Fabulous time catching up with the college roomies and retelling silly old stories.

The bride and groom have arrived...let the party begin!

Beth has an amazing eye for detail and planned all the décor herself. It was beautiful.
And those jelly filled cupcakes!! Bomb dot com.

Sister of the bride gave a heartfelt maid of honor toast, but it was the best man who really stole the show.
His speech included charts and graphs analyzing the cost of dating vs. marrying over time. Awesome.

First dance.

Daddy dance and cousin cuddles.

Now time to let LOOSE!

Even Vati got out on the dance floor - only for the "rockers" of course.

Guess who's still got moves like Jagger?

 Hurrah for Beth and John!!
Congratulations to you both and may you carry the joy of this day in your hearts forever.
