30 Weeks

 

Baby is now as long as a cucumber! (Though definitely a bit thicker 'round the middle.)

Had our 30 week ultrasound appointment at the hospital this morning and all looked good. Baby C's growth is right on track, weighing in at an estimated 3 lbs, 6 ounces. Most likely will double in weight over the next 10 weeks, so guessing baby will be around 7 lbs at birth (give or take a few ounces depending on delivery date). Passed my glucose test from last appointment, so no need to worry about gestational diabetes (woohoo!). The long weekend allowed us to spend some time nesting - cleaned out all of our closets, reorganized storage and put together a few more baby items. Getting closer to feeling "ready" or at least as ready as can hope to feel!
