Fairy Tale of New York

When we visited NYC over Christmas a few years ago, I remember hearing this song playing repeatedly all over the city.  I'd never heard it before, but I heard it a good dozen times during that weeklong trip.  It's hopeful an nostalgic and beautiful and a bit of a lament as well - now it seems to me like the perfect holiday theme song of this great city.
