Immediately after my mom visited, DVC's madre came to stay with us also! Having worked in and lived near Manhattan before, she's quite familiar with the city and was looking forward to revisiting her old haunts.
We of course had to take her to a few of our favorite spots - starting with the Brooklyn Bridge!
Spent some time wandering through cute shops in Brooklyn - ooh, a West Elm Marketplace! Closer to the water, we stumbled upon an awesome solar-powered free charging station, with plugs for a variety of mobile devices available for powering up. Genius and oh-so-handy!
Caught the ferry back across river - quickly becoming one of my favorite "attractions" in Manhattan.
Beautiful day overall - thanks for coming to cook for stay with us!
